Country – Region: Scotland – Speyside
Distillery: Macallan
Type: Single Malt
Age: 12
Barrel: Sherry
ABV: 43%
Proof: 86

Nose: Raisins and figs are the first noticable aromas. Floral notes and tropical fruits join the chamber with oak spices.
Palate: Bodied, creamy texture has sweet spices with Sultanas with a jammy taste. That’s just great!
Finish: Winter spices like nutmeg and cinnamon blends into oaky character to an everlasting finish.

12 years in sherry casks from Jerez. A great balance, aroma range and taste.

In my honest opinion, Macallan 12 is one of those whiskies which you can buy without any hesitation for a good night at an affordable price. When I drink Macallan, I want to feel Macallan sherry, that is all and this 12 year old gives it to me perfectly.
