Palate: Creamy, round and full. Nuts and marzipan tastes are existent with butterscotch, nectar and honey.
Finish: Medium finish with mint, spices and nutmeg.

A blend of Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie malt whiskies. We don’t know the official(!) percentages but I can honestly give you gossips about it. If you want to taste highly demanded Kininvie, Monkey Shoulder is an alternative. The main malt comes from Kininvie.

Monkey Shoulder takes its name from a shoulder dislocation disorder of workers working at the distilleries.

I guess that malt blends are really underrated. Monkey Shoulder has also proven it as it became the Most Popular Whisky of 2015. Despite tasting sooo well, it is also a nice base for cocktails. Especially for sour cocktails.

Affordable price, nice brand, nice blend and great taste.
